The lion in love, battling a mosquito, going to war or facing a revolt: life isn't easy for the king-tyrant of animals...

The same language, the same form of fable, the same use of animal characters to criticize human behavior... across the centuries, two French-speaking writers link Africa and Europe, ancient and modern French, and criticize society past and present, dealing with power and servitude... This tale is fertile with possibilities for work in partnership with the Education Nationale.
