Jean-François Verdier, from a Franco-Italian family, began music quite late, in a small school in the south of France. He quickly understood that music would be his world and devoured all the learning, without restricting himself to just one. He thus became a multi-talented artist: conductor with an international career, artistic director recognized for the quality and originality of his programming, composer and creator of shows for young people performed in several countries, soloist of major orchestras and concert performer, teaching several disciplines, notably at the Cnsm in Paris.
